Research paper titled ‘Energy Harvesting and Utilization in Mobile Phones’ published in International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research, Volume 6, Issue 3, March-2015 (ISSN 2229-5518).

This paper aims at presenting an innovative way of charging mobile phones by harvesting energy from piezoelectric keypads and Electromagnetic transducers. The touch input from the user on piezoelectric keypad will be converted to electrical signals which will then be stored for future discharge. Noise and sound from one’s vocal cord can also be utilized for supplementing the energy harvesting process. The project involves designing a mobile phone by which its battery can be charged using both mechanical and sound energy. This falls under the category of wireless charging and conservation of energy.

MANAGEMENT

Research paper titled ‘Gender Budgeting: An Approach and Analysis’- published and presented at National Seminar on Gender Budgeting in India, organized by ABBS Center for Research and Development, ABBS.

Article “The Way you look at ME (Modern Entrepreneurship) – A Case Study” published in Contemporary Social Sciences, Vol 23 No, 2 (April – June), 2014.(ISSN – 0302-9298).

The best way to do business, is to take risks and believe it will work out well.Entrepreneurship is something that tests your patience and self-belief. This paper analyses one such industry,FOKKER COMPANY, an aircraft manufacture company. It deals with the reasons why Fokker Company went into bankruptcy, potential analysis of the market survey and ways by which it can make a comeback in this modern period. Fokker is an Aerospace based industry founded by Anthony Fokker on 22nd February, 1912. It was one of the largest aircraft manufacturing organization in early 1900’s but went got defunct on 15th March, 1996. It manufactured Commercial and Military Aircraft, having his headquarters at Amsterdam in Netherlands. Stork B. V. took over from Anthony as the successor of this company. This paper presents a detailed analysis of the Fokker Company.

TECHNICAL

Conversion of Thermal Energy to Electrical Energy using NTC’ published in IJESRT.

The basic aim of this paper is to depict the process by which temperature changes in the resistance of NTC can reflect in the output voltage which further can be used to produce various range of voltages. The output is connected to a siren circuit indicating whenever there is an increase in output Voltage beyond certain value, the siren rings. The output is also connected to a comparator circuit for further analyisis of the amount of voltage produced. Thus with effective utilization of this circuit, it can be used in recovery of waste heat in industries, to generate powerin geothermal heat and from the thermal gradient in sea (OTEC), generator driven by Solar e ergy or in pumps which are continuously driven by heat. There is variety of applications of this circuit model like temperature measurement and regulators. We can utilize the waste heat which is generated in various industrial processes in generating high output voltage by varying the temperature across the thermistor.

MANAGEMENT

Paper presented at International Conference on Transnational Entrepreneurs and International SMEs in Emerging Economies: IIM Bangalore, Bangalore, India, published in “Bonfring Digital Library”.

Entrepreneurs are given different names and terms to outline who they are and what they do. In general, all successful Entrepreneurs follow one principle, doing something innovative and different. Transnational entrepreneurs mean self-employed immigrants who live abroad but nevertheless, maintain strong linkages to the community members in other countries, thereby enhancing their competitive advantage. Transnational entrepreneurship has become an important phenomenon as it not only helps in creating new jobs but also in contributing to wealth creation in the host country. The main objective of this paper is to highlight the culture and the business traditions of India, which is also an important factor that motivates the transnational entrepreneurs to start-up their enterprises here. The paper also depicts those factors which motivate entrepreneurs across the globe to choose India as their potential business market. This paper comprises of case studies of three different transnational entrepreneurs with the objective of understanding their personal, company, family and cultural backgrounds.
